I am from Costa Rica, a super tiny country in Central America (Ohh yes, you should visit and there will be some other posts about it). I grew up in a small town on the caribbean side but closer to the mountains, I didn’t spend much time at home and would go out daily to play soccer, bike riding, walking up hill by the rivers, and in general doing anything that would pump some adrenaline. Then while living in the small city of San José, I followed the same path but changed what I would do for fun, started doing motorcycle rides, surfing, mountain bike riding, hiking and finally skydiving.
While life kept going on, I realized I wanted to try it out in different places. My country does have lots of beautiful and famous touristy spots to spend time at, but the world is gigantic and as skydiving progressed I got to meet a lot of people from all around the globe which encouraged me to continue visiting new places. It might have begun with nature sightseeing, new skydiving places and having fun with new sports like snowboarding. Even Though I still love all these, the common one thing I’d enjoy as much as adrenaline in every place I visited would be trying local cuisine and authentic dishes from other places around the world like Thai, Ethiopian, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Vietnamese, Mexican, Brazilian, Argentinian, Colombian, Mediterranean … I love food, and I love trying different stuff, even if they are not so appealing and considered weird .
So I want to share all about the trips I’ve done, good things, bad things, new dishes, experiences gained at every place and let everyone get a sneak peek of how it is.
I hope you like it, and if you don’t. I’m open to hearing it out.
A little more about me:
- I used to hate reading, but it was because I haven’t found the right books. Now I love and enjoy so much to read books about self growth, abundance, philosophy, science fiction, entrepreneurship and it is widening more every book at a time.
- I like sports that require both physical activity and strategy.
- I’m a little geek and into technology.
- I don’t like overspending, but still believe we should give ourselves some treats and even more if those are experiences. For example traveling.
- I care about family.
